Jordan J. Arens, O.D.

Dr. Arens is a primary care optometrist performing comprehensive eye exams. He also specializes in problem focused medical eye care, pediatric eye care, and contact lens fitting including specialty lenses. Dr. Arens is an expert in fitting scleral contact lenses for irregular corneas and severe dry eye syndrome.


Dr. Arens is a native of Norfolk, NE where he graduated from Norfolk Catholic High School. He is a graduate of Creighton University class of 2007, earning his bachelor’s degree in Biology. Dr. Arens completed his professional training in 2011, earning a Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He is currently a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.


While away from the office Dr. Arens enjoys golfing, hunting, boating, watching sporting events, and spending time with his son Sam. He is an avid Creighton basketball, Nebraska football, and Dallas Cowboys fan. Dr. Arens lives in Omaha with his wife Mandy, who is a nurse practitioner at UNMC, specializing in pediatric bone marrow transplant.
